Mike reports: Our 4-year-old son and I had a great time at Sweep the Creek day. He was very into it and actually helped pick up a lot of garbage. Two garbage bags between us. We now talk about trash in Sligo Creek and helping to keep it clean everytime we go to the park by our house. He even spotted an old flattened tin can in the creek the other day that he insisted we pull out -- I couldn't even spot it without him insisting that it was a can (and not a rock) and making me reach in and grab it to find out for sure.
