Discharges into the creek or other environmental problems in the park

Immediately call all of the following:

Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) - 1-866-633-4686 (after hours and weekend), 1-800-633-6101 (during the hours of 8AM to 5PM, M-F) - they are best at coordinating
Park Police 301-949-3010 (ESPECIALLY after hours or on the Weekends of anything that is or may potentially affect the stream)
County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) who will only respond during business hours

If possible, file an on-line Environmental Complaint Form [http://www2.montgomerycountymd.gov/DEPOnlineForms/EnvironmentComplaintForm.aspx] as soon as possible.
It is recommended that you also send an e-mail describing the problem to askdep AT montgomerycountymd.gov.

NOTE that, if it is on a weekend, ONLY the police will respond and investigate so you must call them.

Be ready to report, as much as possible, color, odor, any bubbles, muddiness,
and whether it's floating, on the bottom, or throughout.
Note the time, and if a camera is available, take a photo.
